Bali: A Russian tourist and a Bulgarian woman have been accused of sexual assault and trafficking.
In one incident, Russian tourist Maria Gavrilova said the two Russian men raped her and stole her luggage.
They had to hide in a hotel room with a Russian woman, she told the Interfax news agency.
In the second incident, a Bulgarian hotel employee said she was forced to work as a prostitute in a Russian hotel room in Bulgaria.
The two Russian tourists and the Bulgarian woman are now being held in police custody.
Gavrilovna’s lawyer said her client was “very disturbed” and had “felt threatened.”
The hotel’s owner said it was “not our place to comment” on the case.
Bali, a popular tourist destination, is a popular destination for Russian tourists.
